The Wax Temperature Is Too Cold
One of the most common reasons hard wax breaks is low wax temperature.
When wax cools too much, it becomes brittle and rigid, which causes it to snap instead of lifting.

Fix
Reheat the wax slightly until it has a smooth honey-like consistency. Hard wax should remain flexible enough to bend slightly before removal.
The Wax Layer Is Too Thin
Hard wax needs enough thickness to maintain flexibility when pulled.
If the wax is applied too thin, it loses structure and can break apart when removed.
Fix
